Delivery Schedule
*Royal Mail's next day guaranteed Special Delivery service is getting through the current postal strikes!
I aim to dispatch your order to you the day your order is received (notwithstanding public holidays, for example, Christmas). Orders go out by next day sign for special delivery, and first class recorded delivery to ensure they reach you safely and are covered by insurance. First class recorded delivery of ALL parcels is FREE of charge to UK customers, there is a charge of £5.00 towards the cost of UK next day Special Delivery service. A charge of £6.50 for European International parcels and £15 to the United States and worldwide. The cost is the same whatever the size or weight of parcels.
I cannot accept responsibility for items returned to me due to non-delivery i.e. customer unable to collect from carrier if item was unsuccessfully delivered due to customer being out etc. however I would re-send parcels. Damaged packages please notify me as soon as possible.
Times of high postal volume, particularly at Christmas for example, should be taken into account when placing your order. It is recommended that you consult the Royal Mail Christmas posting deadline schedule, available through your local post office.
Force Majeure.
The seller shall not be liable for any default due to circumstances beyond reasonable control of the seller including, but not limited to, acts of God, war, civil unrest, strike, lock out, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, flood, earthquake or shortage of supply or failure to deliver of the suppliers to the supplier.
Back Orders
My Policy is to only display items on my website that I physically have in stock. Of course there is always the chance I might miss something.
If I am out of stock I will drop you an email explaining the situation and advise you on estimated delivery time, at this point you can either request a full, or partial refund, or order something else. where I can I also send out samples to allow you to use the ordered item while you have to wait for delivery.
I normally dispatch parcels within 3 working days, often sooner. Please allow 5 - 7 working days for delivery from time of placing your order.
Returns Policy
Under the Distance Selling Regulations if you are a consumer (not a business) you have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website within 7 days or receiving our order confirmation email. If I have not yet despatched the goods, I will cancel your order and make an immediate repayment. You can cancel an order by emailing sales@carolegoddard.co.uk or calling me on 07939 159708
Returning an item
When cancelling your order, if you have already received the goods you will need to return them within 30 days. Once I have received your goods, I will credit you with the value of the returned goods.
Unfortunately I cannot accept the following goods:
If you are returning an item because of an error made on my part or because it is defective, I will be more than happy to refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the goods to you and your costs in returning it to me. Otherwise, you will be responsible for delivery charges in connection with your purchase.
To return an item, send the goods to the address below quoting your order number and reason for cancellation eg. defective items. For your protection, I recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service.
